Sampling with the Korg mini kaoss pad 2S

The mini kaoss pad 2S makes a great, simple 48 kHz 16 bit stereo sampler that can record 10 s samples or record continuously for 2 hours.

1. Turn it on.
2. Press fnc until you get to the Sample recorder.
   It shows [standby] in the lower-centre of the screen. This is a soft-button that you select by tapping the middle of the (-     +) strip. Select it to get to the Sample Recorder's paused state.
3. The sample recorder is ready to go. Set the level using the up-down volume control on the right of the unit and select [REC] when ready.
4. When you've recorded a sample, cycle back to the  Sample Recorder's paused state, ready for the next sample.
5. You can copy the samples straight off the microSD card when you're done, or play them back from the smp mode to listen to them.
